BBSummers, LLC is owned by Dr. Beverly Brooks Summers. It provides services in the following areas: (1) RBB Consulting, and Business and Non-Profit Solutions; (2) The Inspire Me to Dream Leadership Curriculum and Training; (3) Empowerment Life Coaching, and (4) “The Christian Education Trainer.”
Dr. Beverly Brooks Summers holds a B.S. in Business Administration (Marketing), and an MBA in Accounting from Bowie State University, in Bowie, MD. She also holds an M.Div. (Practical Theology) and a D.Min. (Renewal Leadership) from Regent University, in Virginia Beach, VA. (Dr. Summers has achieved significant coursework in education at Bowie State University and Prince Georges Community College, and certain course work in the Doctor of Business Administration Program and in the Ph.D. Bible Exposition Program at Liberty University).
Dr. Summers has over 36 years of governmental experience (including 18 years as an Accountant, 2 years as a Financial Analyst, 2 years as a Tax Technician; Tax Technician, and 7 years of quasi legal experience in the Freedom of Information and Privacy Acts). Dr. Summers has 40 years of nonprofit, church, and ministry experience.
She is also a licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel (since 1990/1996) and has led several ministries for over 19 years. Dr. Summers served as a full-time Christian Education Contractor to a local church for over five years, where she led a comprehensive program, serving over 50 ministries and approximately 3,000 members. She organized and provided training for Christian Educators, including the lay pastor training which launched a ministry of lay pastors which is still in existence over 20 years later. Additionally, Dr. Summers currently pastors a local church in Newton Grove, NC.
Dr. Summers also has served as an elementary school teacher and as an adjunct professor for several years. Added to her experiences, Dr. Summers has served as a public speaker, church/ministry speaker, and as a faith-based workshop presenter for over 34 years.
